We are thrilled to share the stunning and intimate wedding of Chloe and Cameron! After 15 years together, their journey began with a breathtaking proposal in South Africa and culminated in a day filled with relaxed fun, family, and timeless style.

The Proposal: A Mountain Top Surprise

After 15 years, the proposal was a complete surprise! The setting couldn't have been more spectacular: at the top of a Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa.

"We had gone up for the sunset and basically had the entire place to ourselves, very romantic!"

A truly unforgettable start to their engagement journey.

The Wedding Day: Relaxed Love & English Country Charm

The couple chose Gorcott Hall in Redditch for their celebration. With a focus on a relaxed, fun, and loving atmosphere, they kept the guest list intimate, inviting only family and close friends.

The ceremony was held outdoors in the picturesque courtyard, and thankfully, the weather was on their side! The vibe was intentionally relaxed, fun, and full of love, creating a truly personal and joyful celebration.

The Dress Journey: Classic, Unique, and Confidence

The search for 'the one' began with some confusion, but Chloe found her perfect match at Annabel Sarah Bridal boutique.

"I came in slightly overwhelmed, unsure exactly what I wanted to go for. Annabel guided me through trying on a range of beautiful dresses. She made us all feel very comfortable and relaxed through the process."

Why She Chose It:

  • Classic and Unique: She loved that she hadn't seen any friends wear anything similar.

  • Comfort: It was flattering and lightweight, ensuring she felt confident and comfortable for a full day of celebrating and dancing into the night!

The Standout Feature:

Her favourite element was the halterneck, a classic design that was also unique, beautifully showing off her shoulders, arms, and waist. The veil added an extra bit of drama with its sparkle and lace trim.

Styling the Day: Bespoke Details & Country Garden Blooms

The overall styling was elegant, natural, and thoughtful, blending classic touches with personal sentiment.

Bridal Look Credits:

  • Hair: A stylish updo, perfectly created by Lottie Palin, lasted all day and night.

  • Makeup: Mili Fox achieved a beautiful, flawless, natural glam look.

  • Jewellery: The bride wore beautiful bespoke earrings made at Camilla Jones Jewellers in Alcester. They were specially created using taper baguette diamonds that belonged to her late grandmother. "It was so lovely that she was part of the final look, she would have been very pleased with the earrings."

Venue & Florals:

  • The bridesmaids wore a lovely dusky pink colour.

  • The stunning floral bouquets were arranged by Ashtree Floral Designs. The bride asked for an 'English country garden' feel, and Ashley "smashed it out of the park!"

A huge thank you and credit goes to Victoria Beddoes for the amazing photos that perfectly captured the feeling of the day.

Advice for Future Brides: Be Present

Chloe offers some wonderful, timeless advice for those planning their own wedding:

  1. Take Your Time: Try on all styles when dress shopping, even the ones you don't think you'll like.

  2. Stay Timeless: "Don't follow trends, find something timeless and classic that you'll look back on and still love many years after the big day."

  3. Be Intentional: The most heartfelt advice is to intentionally take time with your husband to feel present and in the moment.

"We decided beforehand that we would find 5 moments in the day to have together away from the party to just watch everything going on around us. The day goes by so fast, it's important to take in how you feel and see all your guests enjoying the day."
