The Proposal
Helen's fiancée Eddie was not very spontaneous, he knew if he booked something that Helen would wonder what's going on! Eddie decided to book an Indian restaurant. He was really on edge all night and Helen started to think that something was wrong. Helen decided to go to the restroom and when she arrived back to the table, Eddie pushed a box across to her and said "so, will you marry me then or what?" Helen's initial response was "is that it?" With that, Eddie got down on one knee and asked again, of course Helen said Yes! He was even happier when the restaurant gave him 50% off the bill in celebration!
The Big Day
Helen and Eddie had their wedding at the Southcrest Manor Hotel in Redditch.
The Wedding co-ordinater, Kay, was great, even with Helen's thousands of emails with lots of questions. The couple adored the hotel, fully decorated in
Laura Ashley and the grounds are beautiful! Helen and Eddie had a stunning rustic summer wedding theme with wooden logs and decorated wine bottles. It was a really beautiful day, the wedding breakfast was a roast beef dinner which was amazing, everyone commented on how lovely it was!
Wedding dress shopping!
Helen had a rough idea of what style wedding dress she would like. She loved the idea of ivory Satin, something traditional and classic. Annabel Sarah Bridal was the first and last bridal boutique that Helen & her friend visited. She loved the fact that they had the whole shop to themselves and could try on so many styles. Helen said "Annabel was amazing, so patient and believe me, I am the most indecisive person, I tried on so many dresses. It was such a relaxed and friendly environment that I didn't feel pushed or rushed into a decision." Helen fell in love with the Luna Novias Yuko bridal gown, which was showcasing in our boutique during a Luna Novias Trunk Show event. Helen knew it was the one when she walked out of the fitting room to be greeted by her best friend in happy tears! Helen absolutely loved her dream wedding dress, it was Ivory Satin just like she wanted, with beautiful lace details! She didn't want to take it off!
Helen's advice to brides to be!
"If you are looking for your wedding dress, visit Annabel Sarah Bridal. I really cannot fault anything during the whole experience, she was amazing and you really have nothing to worry about. Try not to let family or friends dictate to you, this is your day and should be everything you've wanted. Enjoy the day, it goes by so fast!"

Annabel Sarah Bridal - Annabel amazing from start to now (arranging to have dress cleaned) Rachael the seamstress was amazing, such a fantastic job listened to everything I said and even altered a bridesmaid dress from Next. Cakes by Karen - OMG the cake was amazing! Momma B Cupcakes- Made minion cakes for the kids and cupcakes for the evening!
